The moody, rainy weather and cooler than usual temps have me dreaming of fall and a wardrobe to match. After a summer filled with athletic wear and sundresses, I’m ready for jeans, dresses with sleeves, and a richer color palette filled with lots of texture.
Since it’s still early August, we won’t be wearing boots or coats in Charleston anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean that it’s too early to bring out pieces in an autumnal color palette. Currently on my shopping radar: pieces in fall hues, such as chocolate browns and saturated jewel tones (think magenta, sage green, and deep blue) that are comfortable enough to wear now and into fall.

A matching set means endless opportunities for how to style it! For the launch party, I wore the pieces together with a rattan belt at the waist, almost giving it the appearance of a maxi dress. For a day downtown with my mom and son, the set felt airy and comfortable, as it’s made of a lightweight cotton. I also look forward to styling these pieces individually with other pieces in my closet!

This is my all time favorite post! You look fabulous in this dress and for good reason… it is an amazing dress! I love the colors and it is so flattering. I also love that it is a transitional look, perfect to blend summer to fall seamlessly! I would love to have this dress in my wardrobe! Oh, and that bag!!!
