This is my second holiday season in my home, and I was just as excited as the first year to decorate my home for the holidays! Christmas is by far my favorite holiday of the entire year, so I usually decorate the inside of my home pretty early on (as in November 1st, haha!). For the outside, I wait a bit longer, since I love using fresh greenery to decorate. With the climate in Charleston, fresh greenery doesn’t last very long, so I try to time it so everything will stay fresh through the Christmas holiday.
I searched high and low for fresh garland, and ended up finding some at the Boone Hall Farms Christmas Tree market. This is also where I purchased the wreath on the front door. I added pinecones and berries to the wreath, along with a satin bow, to finish it!
I wrote a blog post last year on tips for hanging fresh greenery – check out that post (and a photo of last year’s front entry) here!
Happy Sunday!
