While spring may be my favorite season in Charleston, there’s nothing quite as picturesque as when the crape myrtle trees are blooming in Charleston. It seems that just overnight in late June, these trees bloom into bright shades of pink, purple, and white where they were once just green. The streets are lined with these trees, so it’s quite a sight to see! Probably one of my favorite places to observe these beautiful blooms is in the lower King Street area (which is also one of my favorite streets in Charleston anytime of year), so that’s where we headed today to explore.
The outfit I’m wearing is by one of my favorite brands, Faithfull The Brand. Their clothing is the epitome of boho-chic and their pieces are perfect for summer. I spotted this set as I was browsing for a couple of new pieces to bring with me on our upcoming trip to Florida in a couple of weeks. I have been eyeing two-piece sets but have been hesitant to wear one as I wasn’t sure if I could pull one off, but as soon as I put this one on I didn’t look back! It may be the most comfortable outfit in my closet. The material is gauzy so it’s comfortable to wear in the Charleston heat, and I just love the floral print!
