I had so much fun putting together this tablescape. I wish I could say that I had a fun dinner or event planned that led me to do this, but I didn’t… this was purely just for fun and to change things up a bit! With that said, I am going to keep the table set for a bit because it feels a bit more special for the holidays. Last year, I hosted my family’s Christmas gathering at my home, and I think I’m really missing that this year!

One of my favorite things about setting a table is the ability to get creative with the pieces that I have… there are endless possibilities! I’ve been slowly building my collection of table linens and tableware since purchasing my new home. I love that I have a mix of new and old pieces, such as the blue glassware that was handed down to me from my grandmother’s collection.

A few details regarding the pieces I used for this table…

I recently purchased this tablecloth from August Table. I love their block print table linens! This one caught my eye for its neutral color palette and the whip-stitched border.

The blue glasses were a housewarming gift, but I found some similar ones that are also beautiful. Colored glass seems to be trendy at the moment. I recently discovered Estelle Colored Glass on Instagram, and they offer an amazing selection of colored glassware – so fun!

I found the exact same plates on Etsy, but it looks like there are limited quantities available. My mom gave these to me before moving into my new home, and they are my favorite! The white scalloped chargers were an amazing $1.99 find from Hobby Lobby.

I originally was planning to use napkin rings, but last minute decided to tie a simple satin ribbon around the napkin instead. Such an easy and pretty idea!

There is no right or wrong way when decorating a table, and I think that’s the best part! Looking forward to hopefully being able to entertain a bit more in 2021!

Thanks for reading, and have a great week,

-A
