I wore the Hill House “Nap Dress” to a baby shower this past weekend, and I loved wearing it so much I decided to write a blog post about it! You have likely seen this dress on Instagram – it has a bit of a cult following and for a good reason. Once you have one, you’ll likely want a few more in your closet!
This dress is truly the perfect summer dress… it looks great dressed up with a pair of wedges or heels, but could be just as easily worn to run errands, or even over a swimsuit to go to the pool or beach. The one I’m wearing in the photos above is the Ellie Nap Dress. This particular style sells out very quickly, but the great news is is that they do restocks fairly often! While this print is (currently) sold out, I love the white version of it, which has a Swiss dot detail!
What I love most about this dress is how comfortable it is. After all, it is called the “nap” dress… 🙂 ‘House dresses’ became very trendy last year with everyone quarantining but still wanting an occasion to wear something a bit more elevated that sweatpants. I love that this ‘trend’ is here to stay, because being comfortable and stylish is always a goal of mine.
For sizing reference, I am wearing a Small. The dress has a lot of stretch to it so I could have sized down to an XS. A heads up that it is somewhat sheer… I wore a slip underneath it for the baby shower I attended, and it worked well!
