One of my favorite activities is setting a pretty table for a special occasion. I’m pretty sure I inherited my love for this from my mom, who really knows how to set a beautiful table. I’ve said this before, but we like to call her “Maggie Stewart” (you might have guessed – her first name is Maggie). If you’ve been following my blog, you may remember this table setting, which was one of my favorites that we put together last Summer! I also loved this Fall themed table, as well.
I am just now starting to collect pieces of my own for the table. Unfortunately, in my current home, I do not have much room for storage, so my collection is very limited at this point. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t dream about all of the beautiful pieces I’d love to have! My mom also keeps an eye out for items that she thinks I would love and is holding on to them for me until I move into a larger place.
This past weekend, as I was doing some spring cleaning, I came across some favorite items that I’ve loved and gotten so much use out of this past Spring and Summer (many of which were given to my by my mom!). This inspired me to put together a post on some of the items for my table that I have on my wishlist. As you can see, I am a member of the #blueandwhiteforever fan club. No other colors make me happier than blue and white. These colors feel especially fresh this time of year! You’ll see that I tend to gravitate towards this color palette as I share my favorite items I currently own, and those that I’d love to purchase…
My mom purchased this table cloth and the matching napkins for me last Spring. Though I cannot locate these exact items, these pieces are on my current wishlist for Spring:

I saw this ceramic colander last year and couldn’t resist! I love this white one, as well:
bunny napkin rings (similar here and here)
How adorable are these bunny napkin rings? They are perfect for Easter, but can truly be used for any Spring table!
Here are some fun similar options:
blue glasses (vintage – similar here and here)
These wine glasses are vintage and were handed down to me by my mom. She knows I have a love for all things blue, and so I now have a large collection of blue glassware. I also love these options:
