Winter Neutrals

February is quickly approaching, and while it’s still very much winter, I’m editing my closet and my shopping cart to include transitional pieces that will be wearable now and into the early spring months. Winter white, ivory, and ecru – warm whites that are always flattering and really can be worn year-round – are the highlight of my wardrobe.

I know many of us reach for darker clothing in the winter months, but I find I’m the opposite and really gravitate towards winter whites and neutrals this time of year (aside from my mom uniform of yoga pants!). Fortunately, these neutral colors easily translate into wearable pieces for warmer weather, so I don’t feel too guilty about adding a few new pieces to my closet. I always feel my best in shades of white throughout the year – I love that this hue brightens up my skin tone even without having much of a tan (which I’m really wishing for right now)!

I first want to share about these jeans. I have been raving about them on my Instagram stories recently and for good reason – the price point is excellent, and the fit is such that you can comfortably wear them all day. I haven’t fully embraced the wide leg trend so I love that this is a ‘not skinny’ but ‘not wide leg’ style that feels spot on for what’s in style currently.

This top is perfect to pair with winter white/ecru jeans, and the cropped hem works well with higher-waist styles. I don’t typically wear a ton of pattern but I love this pretty print.

Yes, I’m wearing sandals – it was a beautiful 75 degree day when we took these photos! These are a favorite pair from Cocobelle. Lastly, my bag is from a cute boutique here in Mt. Pleasant called Findings. They have so many great bags (both new and vintage!). I also was able to source it online here. I think Beau loves it too! 🙂

I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
