Happy 2024!

I’ve been quieter on my blog as of late – not necessarily by choice, but life lately has been busy in the best way! The Christmas season was so very special having a 10 month old to enjoy it with. I now understand why people say that the holidays are all the more magical when you have a little one! While Walker was still too little to really understand the holiday, he seemed to really enjoy “opening” his gifts – aka, playing with tissue paper! Another special moment was taking him to his first church service on Christmas Eve eve. He waved his hands and clapped during every song! It was a core memory that I won’t forget. I hope your holiday was wonderful, too!

I love the beginning of a new year because it always feels like a fresh start! I spent the last week setting some goals for myself, both personally and professionally, and have been organizing some spaces in my home that were in need of attention. While I’m looking forward to the new year, I also have been reflecting on the past one. 2023 was incredibly special since it was the year that our sweet baby boy was born. It was a year of immense joy, as well as learning, growth, and challenges, and I am grateful for every moment of it.

I love these photos so much! Trying to get our wiggly almost-11-month-old to sit still for a few photos is quite the challenge but I’ve been trying to pull out our “nice” camera more often. His little romper melts me! And Beau was loving the camera, too.
