A change in season means a shift in color palette in my wardrobe. I love wearing muted colors and neutrals during the fall months, and recently, I’ve been gravitating towards shades of green. I’m usually a blue girl, so this is a change for me!
I do so much of my shopping online that I tend to forget how enjoyable it is to browse a boutique and shop in person. I recently visited one of my favorite boutiques – Monkees of Mt. Pleasant, which is where I purchased the dress I’m wearing in the photos above. I love that it is an easy, wear-anywhere dress for the fall months. I love jeans, but sometimes, dresses just feel more comfortable to wear! I didn’t want to give up the easy feeling of wearing a maxi dress just because it’s fall, so I think this is the perfect piece.
I love this time of year in downtown Charleston, and I enjoyed capturing some photos on our walk. These were all taken on Meeting Street. Every time I am downtown, there is something new to see! It makes me feel like a tourist in my own town, which isn’t a bad thing, in my opinion.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
