This past weekend was spent at Charles Towne Landing for the annual Garden & Gun Jubilee. The Jubilee is a three-day festival that celebrates all things Southern, and offers shopping, food, music, and art, with a side of holiday cheer. It’s quite possibly my favorite event in Charleston. My mom and I attended last year’s Jubilee for the first time, and enjoyed it so much, we decided this year we’d bring my Dad and Michael (and Beau!) along.
Charles Towne Landing is a beautiful venue – I’ve been to several events there, but none that takes advantage of the setting as much as the Jubilee.
The event is spread out, and there are several stops – the Marketplace, the Farmshed, the Jubilee Diner, the Pantry, the Truckstop, the G&G Sport Shop, and the Jubilee Village. Each stop offers something different – including shopping, food, live music, and even dog shows!
