I instantly feel myself when I’m wearing my favorite color, blue. I love many shades of blue but this gorgeous sky blue hue may take the cake! My closet probably didn’t need another blue dress, but this one by Fanm Mon was too beautiful to pass up.

I was instantly drawn to the color palette and the striking dark floral embroidery set against the sky blue fabric of this dress. The floral design actually reminded me a bit of coral that you’d find in the ocean.. don’t ask me why, but I see that when I look at this dress. I love how the fitted shape of the top of the dress gives way to a full, a-line skirt, which feels extra fun to twirl in and I think makes this dress feel really special.

Fanm Mon‘s designs have an elegant but carefree vibe. Living in the Lowcountry means the heat and humidity are not conducive to wearing anything fussy, which is what makes Fanm Mon’s effortless cotton styles so perfect for our climate. They are the perfect occasion pieces yet they are extremely wearable and comfortable. Perhaps my favorite aspect of this brand is the multiple color-ways they offer within each of their styles, and the ability to request custom specifications. It’s very difficult not to find something that you love!

I have to take a moment to talk about these woven sandals from Joyasol. Woven textures are certainly on trend, but I see these pretty heels as a timeless pair that have the perfect ability to effortlessly elevate so many summer outfits. They’re very well-made and also come in a gorgeous bronze shade.

These photos were taken at my happy place at my parents home in Murrells Inlet during our recent visit. The backdrop is always my favorite when I’m shooting looks for my blog! This time of year, everything is so green, including the marsh grass. We love sitting on the porch and watching the birds and the fish enjoy their habitat! Rain or shine, this is one of my favorite views and places to be.

I’d love to know, what color makes you the most happy to wear?
