The look I’m sharing today was one that I wore last week when the temps were a little cooler than I prefer them to be this time of year… spring, where are you?! While Charleston is slowly transitioning into the season, I’ve been turning to pieces that are perfect for the in-between weather.. you know, the time of year where you have your heat turned on in your car in the morning, and by the afternoon, you’ve switched to AC!
This top proved to be a perfect piece for this kind of weather. I love pairing blue and white anytime of the year, but especially during the spring and summer months. It always feels fresh and is a welcome color palette after the darker colors that we often wear in the winter. This top also has so many great details – the balloon sleeves, the embroidery near the hem, and the front tie-tassels!
I can’t end the post without mentioning my jeans. I purchased both the white and denim versions of Madewell’s high-waist button front jeans online on a whim without trying them first in the store. I had heard so many great things about these jeans, and I am here to tell you they are all true! These are by far the most comfortable (and flattering) jeans I’ve ever worn. I love the high waist and the frayed hem! I highly recommend them, and have linked the two I purchased below:
