This morning, we woke up to snow flurries and 34 degree weather – a very rare occasion in Charleston! I couldn’t contain my excitement… my thought process is: if it’s going to be this cold, it may as well snow!
The flurries only lasted for a few hours, and then we were back to sunny skies. As quickly as the snow disappeared, I was back to dreaming of warmer weather and a spring wardrobe. While the weather won’t allow for wearing cotton sundresses yet, I am still shopping for warmer weather pieces right now. A recent closet addition was this gingham dress from a new to me designer, LJC Designs. A local Charleston boutique, Monkees, carries their line of dresses, and I couldn’t resist this one. I love the sleeves, the neckline, and the lightweight fabric.
I have more fun spring styles to share with you soon, so stay tuned! For now, I’ll just be here dreaming of a springtime occasion to wear this dress.
