This past weekend, we decided last minute to head up to Murrells Inlet to visit my parents. The weather was beautiful over the weekend – it was a bit overcast, but no rain, and temperatures were in the 70’s. It felt amazing since we are usually still in the 80’s this time of year!
My mom and I are both in Fall mode, partly due to this great weather, so we wanted to set a pretty Fall-inspired table for our dinner that evening. My mom and dad had just returned from a dove hunt the day before, so on the menu were bacon-wrapped doves, grits, and brussel sprouts – yum! Not pictured are the coconut cake pops we made after our cake fell a bit flat out of the oven 🙂
We put the table together very last-minute, so we used what my mom had around the house, which ended up working out perfectly. We did make one quick stop at Tuesday Morning for the gold pumpkins after not having any luck finding real pumpkins at the store! Many of the items I could not locate online, but I’ve included below some great options to put together a similar look! We were so happy with how the table turned out – it felt very festive with the first day of Fall coming soon. I am looking forward to many more beautiful tables this coming holiday season!
Lastly, I have to give most of the credit for this pretty table to my mom. She also has a blog, Camo365, where she shares all about her passion for the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. She is also planning on writing a post about our dinner…. I’m hoping she will also share the recipes!
