A White Eyelet Dress for Spring

dress (c/o) | espadrilles | bag

My mom came to visit me a few weeks ago on a beautiful warm day. We took full advantage of the weather and spent the afternoon walking around downtown Charleston, which was showing so many signs of spring. We stopped immediately when we saw this pretty scene.

I wore a brand new eyelet dress from one of my favorite local brands, Victoria Dunn. This dress is the “Kiawah” and is a great classic piece that could be worn for many occasions (bridal shower, Easter, church, etc!). I love the 3/4 length sleeves for this time of year, and the bow-tie waist gives the dress a great silhouette.

Some would say it’s too early to wear white, but I say the rules are out… wear what makes you happy!

My Ann Mashburn bucket bag has been my go-to lately when I don’t want to carry my larger tote bag. It is roomy on the inside but lightweight in it’s structure, which I love! I’ve been eyeing this pale pink version, as well.

Can you spot the bee?

This time of year really inspires me to refresh my wardrobe with a few new pieces to rotate in in the coming months. I spent one of my days off last week cleaning out my closet from top to bottom, and it was the best feeling!

I hope you have a great Sunday!
