Happy Friday from Charleston! Today, I’m bringing you a tablescape featuring my favorite color palette, blue and white … no surprise there!
I purchased this beautiful block print tablecloth last year during a sale last fall that Julia Amory was having, and I’ve been waiting for the spring months to use it! When I plan a tablescape I usually start with one piece and build off of that, so in this case, it was the tablecloth.
I really ran with the blue and white theme and used pieces that I’ve collected over the past few years, like these beautiful blue and white Churchill dinner plates, my Amanda Lindroth rattan wrapped glasses, and this beautiful cerulean blue Blenko glass vase that we received as a wedding gift last year.
I had recently added a few new pieces to my collection which were used for this table, such as these blue and white gingham dinner napkins – a steal at just 4 for $12. I love these playful blue wicker placemats – they add a fun touch to the table!
These blue glass goblets were a housewarming gift from my grandmother from her collection. She and I both love the color blue, and she has been so kind to pass down some of her special pieces to me! I ended up using these as votives with tea lights, and it’s amazing how perfect they paired with the vase. I have really built up a great collection of blue glassware that I know I’ll be able to use throughout the years!
My dress is sadly sold out, but I found several other similar white dresses from the same retailer that I would love to add to my closet…
Okay, I may leave this one set for a while – I love it!
Thank you so much for reading, and have a great weekend,
-A
