A December Table

The festive season is in full swing, and I’ve really been inspired when it comes to setting a holiday table. To me, building a beautiful tablescape is such a fun way to get creative, and the bonus is that your guests will feel extra special seeing the thought and attention that went into the table decor. With the holidays being the perfect excuse to set a special table, I am excited to share this one that feels very “me”, in colors that are not necessarily traditional, but still very festive!

My inspiration came from these gorgeous table linens by Parterre that I purchased on a special Black Friday sale (an early Christmas gift to myself!). I have been eyeing their table linens for quite some time, and I am so thrilled with them and only wished I had purchased them sooner. The linen material has a beautiful sheen to it, making these feel more elevated than your typical cotton table linens. Both the napkins and the tablecloth are both currently on sale for 50% off, so take advantage now if you love them!

The chocolate brown gingham placemats are so versatile for use this time of year, from fall and throughout the holiday season. Flying Sheep Country is always a favorite for sourcing table linens, and I’m thrilled to have these in my collection!

My husband thought the fresh magnolia leaves weren’t necessary for this table, but I thought they added a festive seasonal touch. I love using fresh greenery and florals and Trader Joe’s never disappoints!

Onto outfit details… my skirt was a fun find earlier this season. Sadly, the exact color is sold out, but there is a beautiful blue-grey version that would be beautiful to pair with a sweater for the cooler months!
