A Colorful Summer Tablescape

I’m sharing one last summer ‘hurrah’ in the form of a table setting today – a colorful and whimsical, yet understated tablescape that sets the perfect scene for outdoor dining to enjoy the last bit of the summer season.

I was completely inspired by this beautiful vase and appetizer plates featuring artwork by Dean Crouser, sourced from Demdaco. I love hummingbirds in real life, so the beautiful artwork set upon these pieces immediately grabbed my attention! It’s easy to see how they became the stars of this simple table, allowing me to use neutrals for the other tabletop items. I’m excited to have these special pieces in my collection as I don’t have anything this colorful in my ever-growing stash of tableware. I also wanted to note that the price point of these pieces is fantastic, making them an easy choice for gifts for a new homeowner, or a hostess gift.

Trader Joes will always be my go-to for flowers. The price point and quality cannot be beat! I purchased a bouquet of white roses, and a multi-variety seasonal bouquet, and created an arrangement that makes me happy every time I look at it. It is literally sunshine in a vase!
