This past week has been a buzzy one – Shopbop is in Charleston! That’s right – everyone’s favorite retailer is doing a pop-up on King Street through March 15th, and has brought with it a fabulous, curated selection of clothing and accessories to shop. To celebrate, Shopbop has hosted a number of events over the past week, a couple of which I was so fortunate to attend! I’ve shared some snaps on Instagram, but I thought it would be fun to recap these events in a bit more detail here on my blog.

The week kicked off with a beautiful afternoon set upon the Kiawah River at the Dunlin Auberge. The weather was truly perfection – 75 degrees and sunny – our first true spring-like day in Charleston.
Jenni Kayne co-hosted the event with Shopbop, and they set the most gorgeous long table for us in their signature coastal-cool, rustic aesthetic. I loved seeing how everyone styled their Jenni Kayne pieces for the event. I wore the Wynn dress, a flowy maxi with pretty bodice details, and it felt perfect for the day.

After a yummy lunch and fun conversation, we made our way towards the river bank where tables with buckets of flowers were set out for us for a flower arranging workshop hosted by Palmetto Bloom. Flower arranging has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but I don’t make time for it enough, and this workshop made me realize I need to get back to doing this more!
It was so nice having a professional lead us. I picked up some great tips (did you know you were supposed to remove the leaves from hydrangea stems before placing in a vase?!), and we each walked away with a beautiful arrangement.

It was the dreamiest afternoon from start to finish, and so much fun to be in the company of brands and other creators I admire!
On the following night, Shopbop co-hosted a kick-off party with Veronica Beard, another favorite brand, on the rooftop at the Nickel Hotel. With a sunset view of the city as the backdrop, and a fun DJ, the party was a vibe!
Created by Alice did a “build your own brooch/bag charm” bar which was a hit all night. It was so much fun getting to be with old and new friends!

I wore a fun Staud set for the evening (top linked here, and skirt linked here), and it would make such a fun outfit to pack if you’re planning a vacation this spring.

Shopbop surely knows how to throw a party! Every detail was so thoughtful, and each person I met from the Shopbop team and the brands that co-hosted were truly the loveliest, kindest people. It made me feel especially grateful to be a part of the week, and to be a part of the creator community in Charleston!
You can visit Shopbop’s pop-up at 259 King Street through March 15th!
